The Thermal Shocking Machine is revolutionising the processing of nuts such as pistachio, peanut, hazelnut and almond. It is designed above all to give the product flexibility before slicing (sliver processing). Working on the thermal shock principle, the machine gives the product the flexibility required for slicing while preserving its structural integrity.
This process results in less dust being generated during slicing, which significantly increases product yield. The slicing ratio, normally between 55% and 60%, rises to as much as 95% with the Thermal Shocking Machine. This leap means lower losses during processing and higher final product quality.
With a capacity of 200 kg/hour, SVN 1050 suits medium and large-scale nut processing plants. 8 kW power draw and a 380V three-phase electrical connection allow it to run on the standard infrastructure of industrial facilities. The AISI 304 stainless steel body is in full compliance with food industry standards. It is designed as the 2nd step of the Almond Blanching Plant line, for integration after washing.
