The almond washing machine is the first and most critical step of the almond blanching plant. Raw almonds arriving from the field, the warehouse or transport reach the plant together with dust, soil, leaves, stems and various foreign matter. This contamination directly affects product quality, causes equipment wear in subsequent processes and puts food safety standards at risk. With continuous water circulation, BYM 300 cleans almonds to industry standards and delivers clean raw material to the rest of the line.
The machine is manufactured entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel. In the food industry, stainless steel is mandatory on all surfaces in contact with the product; this material offers long service life, easy cleaning and high hygiene. The water continuously circulating in the washing tank separates all foreign matter from the almond surface. The almonds pass homogeneously through the water with a gentle agitating motion and, after washing, are transferred from the draining section to the outlet conveyor.
With a capacity of 300 kg/hour, it is the ideal solution for small and medium-scale almond blanching plants. Power consumption of 1.5 kW keeps operating costs low; the 380V three-phase electrical connection is compatible with the standard infrastructure of industrial facilities. The water circulation system keeps water consumption to a minimum while maximising washing efficiency. Yes. For orders within Türkiye our technical team carries out installation, commissioning and operator training directly on site.
For projects abroad, remote installation support, a detailed installation manual and, on request, guidance from technical personnel are provided. The scope and charges for these services are stated in the project quotation.
For standard BYM 300 orders the delivery time is approximately Standard production time is 30-45 working days from order confirmation. For special requests (capacity change, additional control panel, custom colour, etc.) the lead time may vary. Domestic shipping within Turkey takes 2-5 working days; international shipping takes 7-30 days depending on the country. A detailed timeline is shared together with the proforma invoice. After the order stage we provide you with a clear production and shipping schedule .
